We were gifted a 2 night stay and we were not disappointed with this beautiful B&B tucked in southern Illinois. The breakfasts were delicious! Malcom & Loraine were amazing hosts and directed us to some of the best area wineries. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We can’t wait to visit again soon!
My daughter was married here in May. Wonderful accomodations for a small intimate wedding and the hosts are spectacular! Highly recommend
We love the serene, beautiful setting of the inn, and our hosts, Lorraine and Malcolm, were delightful and made it a very personal experience. Several of the features felt like they were just created to pamper us, like the river stone shower, adorable handmade soaps, and jar of fresh-ground coffee for the suite. The breakfasts were delicious, and it was nice getting to hear the story of how our hosts came to southern Illinois. We stayed for the 1st time this weekend and will definitely be back. We picked the Inn over the cottages for the breakfast oprion and it did not disappoint, both mornings it was delicious. Malcolm built a fire for us after returning from our day on the wine trail and we enjoyed several more hours outside on the peaceful patio. Malcolm and Lorraine are great hosts and this was the perfect weekend away celebrating our 40th birthdays!
We had a fantastic stay! Malcolm and Lorraine were wonderful hosts and always wanted to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
Loved staying here in the Inn! Fantastic breakfasts and we loved the eco-friendly approach to the building. Plenty to do during your down-time, with books, games, and movies available for your use. Highly recommend a stay with Loraine and Malcolm.
