Horrible horrible place to be when you are sick.My brother has not been moved in over 24 hours. He fractured a vertebrae and cracked two ribs in a fall and has been in Maine Med since last Wednesday. They placed a back brace on him which was supposed to be removed after a couple of hours. They left it on him for over eight. He has diabetes and this created sores on his back. RecommendedI broke my hip this past Friday. Surgery at 07:45 Saturday am back in my room by 10:30. The Dr’s did the total hip replacement in one hour!!!!
RecommendedI had my left kidney removed in April, plus some stones removed. The staff went out their way to make me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this hospital. One of the best in my opinion.

While Bubba left us today....You all were AMAZING to him and us. So patient with him and us. Answering every question we had,,,making us feel at home. Every one of you are True Professionals. RecommendedI was transferred to Maine med with severe preeclampsia that turned into HELLP syndrome. My daughter was a month behind in growth and I was only 32 weeks pregnant on top of that. I developed multiple organ failure and I had to have an emergency C section. The doctors and surgeons managed to save mine and my daughters lives, and treated me so well during my stay. My daughter is still there and is hopefully coming home soon but I am very impressed with the care she has received as well. I will forever be thankful for the entir... read more
