Had a total knee replacement in February and saw Dr Mahoney yesterday for a follow up. He said I am doing great. Have referred several other people to him. He’s very professional and kind and really knows what he’s doing!! I have almost no scar at all.
Excellent experience. Dr. Mahoney thoroughly explained my medical issue in precise and understandable terms. He clearly stated the options and potential outcomes. He invited questions and responded concisely. He did not seem rushed and was focused on me as an individual patient.
I had heard good things about Dr Mahoney and they were all true. He took his time to explain the problems with my knee and treatment options. I felt confident that his diagnosis and treatment options were on the mark and that he is an excellent, extremely competent physician.
Dr. Mahoney is the Cream of the Crop hip and knee surgeon. He replaced my right hip and has followed up with 100% attention to my recovery - from recommending physical therapy to reviewing my X-rays each time I visit him. He is kind an caring and very professional and encouraging. I sing his praises to all my friends and highly recommend him. The word about town is - Dr. Mahoney is the best and their is none better!
He is a very personal doctor. I Have several family members whom dr Mahoney has some knee surgery on.
Needing total knee replacement. This clinic’s reputation is the best.
Botched my knee replacement, am now disabled; he did not do a bone-density test before the surgery, did not ask/test for allergy to components used in replacement, did not use a female calibrated rod in leg when he had to insert a rod because he broke the bone trying to make a too-large rod fit, etc. Went to Emory; they said the knee would have to undergo a 2 year surgical redo or the knee would be amputated. No, I would not recommend Mahoney!
Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful...wait time was very short...I just loved Dr. Mahoney!! He sat down and really explained what was going on with my knees and possibly what the future treatment would be further down the road...explained any questions that I had...I would certainly recommend him to my family and all of my friends!! Thank you again Dr. Mahoney!!!
My visits are usually quick. This last one was the fastest yet and I felt like Dr. Mahoney took his time answering questions
