Had quite a long wait but had heard so many good things about Dr Mahoney felt it was worth it. After the appointment, I believe it was!
Good visit and mri scheduled to determine what is causing pain.

Dr Mahoney is a great doctor with a great staff. Had total knee replacement one year ago and have not had any issues with it. Recovery for me was perfect. Would highly recommend him to family and friends.
I have complete faith in Dr. Mahoney’s medical decisions. He believes in treating the complete patient and does not have tunnel vision and see only the one ailment he is focusing on for surgery. Since most of us who are his patients have serious physical issues, this is a tremendous asset for a attending physician to have. I wish more physicians practiced this style of medicine. Dr. Mahoney is a wonderful physician and man.
Dr Mahoney answered all my questions thoroughly. He and his staff were easy to contact. When I needed an adjustment in my medications after surgery, he responded quickly. My knee is perfect, pain free and I have great flexibility. I have recommended Dr Mahoney to friends for their knee problems.
My husband died two years after knee replacement from a blot clot that went to his heart. Went back or called to his office several times complaining of pain, clicking and heat in his knee. They always said it was normal. Said xrays looked fine. Gave him pain relievers and sent home. Anyway. I know there was no intentional neglect, any surgery is a risk, but it just turned out bad.
I have been seeing Dr. Mahoney and Joe Hale for 2 years now. He did a hip replacement that turned out to be a real issue, nothing caused on his end. I have had nothing but soft tissue issues up until Sept 2020. He never gave up on trying to figure out the problem and once it was figured out, my issues have consistently improved. He's a great surgeon and I would, and do, 100% recommend him for any hip or knee replacements. He also did my knee in 2019 and it's been smooth sailing ever since.
