trusted housing – I don't understand some of the reviews I am reading. My daughter has lived at the Lucaya House since May of 2009. We have NEVER had an issue. I have had experience with so many of the apartment complexes in the New Mexico University area (not my first child living there). I sent my 19 yr old daughter off to school and to live at Lucaya, and honestly after 2 years - would not have her any place else.
A Good Deal – I've been here only a few months but I am enjoying it so far. The office staff are extremely helpful and available to answer questions whenever needed. The grounds are nice, it's a good size and has all the amenities I would ever need. Another great reason to live at The Lucaya House Apartments is location, location, location!
Recommend Four Seasons Apartments!!! :D – I've lived in these apartments right across from the university on 120 Cornell for about two years now, and I have loved living there. This was my first time living in apartments and I was very excited to move in to such a great location and welcoming environment. Great location to UNM!! – I lived at Lucaya for two years and I just want to tell people that living at Lucaya was great. I would not have lived any where else. I am from out of state and the front desk people were wonderful at helping me make my stay at Lucaya better. Whenever I had any issues about any aspect of the apt. - the staff had always been helpful. The staff is courteous and got anything I needed done in a timely matter. I am graduating now and sad to have to leave.
Worst Management: Vulgar language & unprofessional, rip-offs – I stayed at the lucaya east apartments. I lived there for six months my roommate and I decided to move out early and break our lease due to all the parties, domestic disputes, and burglaries. Of all the apartment places i have been to...I say Lucaya East was beyond the worst place to live. The Management do not care about the tenants unless they have received your money. Lucaya Suckz – Worst management in Albuquerque. They dont bother of tenants problems at all. Poor Maintainance, worst behaviour for calls. Prefer not to stay in Lucaya apt....
Horrible – I will say this: know your rights and know the laws. Have everything they say to you written out and signed. They go back on their word. The staff is rude, lying scumbags. DO NOT LIVE HERE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS!
Awful – I lived there for couple months and my girlfriend lived there also in separate apartment. First, Maintenance is so bad! I got my hot water off and it took 3 weeks to be fixed, 3weeks of cold water! My friend called them 3 times to fix the oven, and it hasnt been fixed until the day she left the apartment and what made it worse on that day is that they told her she didnt call them enoughgh!
