WORST APARTMENTS EVER! – I moved into Lucaya apartments in the October of 2008. At first I lived on the second floor with a roommate. During that time there was a huge pluming problem. The entire first floor of the building was backed up with sewage. So tenants toilets, bathtubs, and sinks where filling with feces and urine. Luckily I lived on the second floor! RUDE STAFF (LADIES IN THE OFFICE) CURUPT, DISCRIMANATION, POOR MAINTANENCE, HARRASSMENT – I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO LIVE AT. ECSPECAILLY THE APT ON SPRUCE THEY ARE VERY RUDE PEOPLE. IT TOOK THEM ALMOST A YEAR TO FIX EVERYTHING THAT WAS WRONG WITH MY APT. THEY HARRASS GOOD TENENTS WHO PAY THIER RENT ON TIME. THEY DISCRIMATE AGAINST YOU. I WOULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS IF IT WERE AN OPTION – The property that I lived at was absolutely horrible! Things were broken all the time and shabbily constructed to be put back together, and it took forever to have things fixed. My ceiling was falling into my shower, and it took three weeks to have it fixed, I ended up with a stained tub and plaster in my hair! DONT MOVE HERE – DO NOT MOVE HERE!! don't even consider it. these places are horrible. when i moved into my apartment it was filthy. there were toe nail clippings and pills stuck in the rug from the previous tenants. the first day the hot waterknob was missing on my shower it took them a week to put a new one on. That same week my air conditioner stopped working it took them almost two weeks to fix it in the middle of summer. Avoid – They own many apartments around ABQ so be careful. The apartments look nice (sometimes) and are decent prices. The area that I lived in was not to bad either, and with the exception of some Friday and Saturday nights there was always parking. The maintenance people were very nice and did their best to help out, but because they own so many places it is very unlikely you would receive help right away unless it was an emergency. fighting and drunks~ – i dont rent from these people ...but i live on lead across from an apartment complex and let me say there is always fighting comming from below (basement) 1911 lead area ..some guy is always beating his girlfriend and what not and the loud music is insane i would not recommend it to anyone ....hopefully the find a way to quite them down or kick them ouT ! i can hear the fighting from across the street and this is not the 1st time this happend ! is almost ever weekend ...hopefully you read this and some... read more
Awesome community – I have lived here for over a year and am satisfied with the place I live at. I would like to know how people leave their apartments to not get there deposit back. It is not hard to keepm a place clean. Yesterday I walked by one of the apartments that was empty and I say people who work here that were cleaning it and it was left disgusting, and peple wonder why they don't get their deposit back. A place to call home – This is my home and has been my home for about 6 months. Me and my husband got a divorce and I needed a fresh start. They were very helpful in getting me that fresh start. They were very through in everything that they did. I started on a month to month lease and after being here for 2 months I decided to sign a year lease because I enjoyed it. Managed by incompetence, Keep searching – This apartment complex is horrible manages, you can find a better price for nicer places throughout the city, so keep looking. The complex is horribly dirty 90% of the time, except for July when they're trying to fill their units. The gates are never closed all the way, people have followed my girlfriend home and stalked her via the intercom. The premises have a huge bug/r0ach problem, there are huge r0aches which come out at night. Don't get yourself into a lease with these people, ... read more
