Went for my Covid vaccine today. It was very well organized and quick. The healthcare staff were very warm and friendly! Thanks to all of you healthcare frontline workers!!

My son was in an accident and acquired a brain injury. Loyola did NOTHING to help him. They told me the only injury to his brain was anoxic. They told me he would never come out of a vegetative state and in the same hour asked me if he was an organ donor. When I told them I had faith in God and wanted to give God a chance to perform a miracle, I was told I was being unethical. When I asked if there was a test that could be done to see where the damage was they told me no. When I asked for the name of his neurologist I was to... read more

My 10 month old son had surgery on the 6th in the outpatient surgery wing. I only have one good thing to say and it’s the doc and nurses that took care of my son. They were amazing, but one nurse and the receptionist treated my husband and I like crap. My son had a 3 hour surgery. We got there at 6am with no food in our stomachs. We asked if there was somewhere we can grab a bite to eat while our son was in the or and they told us we can only use one vending machine that had absolutely nothing in it. They told us we would ge... read more

This hospital is horrible they force patients to only use their pharmacy for prescription. They don't care about anything but themselves.

The outpatient surgery unit retaliated against me simply because I was trying to let someone know that a medical assistant was extremely upset with me as I did not get up as quick as she wished on to the bed. She became irate and later was making inappropriate comments to me in front of my family member about my shoes and other things. I had an expensive pair of New Balance gym shoes on that I wear everywhere even doctors appointments. The nurses were great though. Someone from the unit called my ophthalmologist office at Go... read more

I understand in our current climate with Covid we are not able to be with or visit our loved ones. However, it is imperative to keep lines of communication open for family members. It took me 2 hours of calling the main line, nursing station, as well as, paging the nursing supervisor x2 (which never called back) before I called again and someone finally answered on the floor. I needed an update, it shouldn’t be this difficult. I was considering moving all her medical care over, but I think I’ll pass. Please work on fixing th... read more

First and foremost the staff that has waited on me was amazing, especially in the ICU, Joann had to be one of my favorites. However, down in general is a completely different thing. Yes, being In general you share rooms and at that point the opposite bed in which shares my room is horrible. The nurses and doctors forget that I too am a patient. Regina in particular worst doctor or nurse ever.... loud and has no regard that I am trying to sleep . She came in every time throughout the entire night with her loud Obnoxious voice... read more

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE for a "non-narcotic" medication .. a medication for chronic migraines.. a medication that a patient has been on for years to BE REFILLED? 3+ days and NO RESPONSE? . REALLY? . With all the electronic authorizations in place.. with an ESTABLISHED PATIENT/DOCTOR relationship... WHY are doctors routinely NO FILLING PRESCRIPTIONS? . This has been going on since BEFORE COVID.. but.. NOW, it has only gotten worse!!! 3 DAYS and STILL NO REFILL OR (EVEN A REPLY OR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT IN "MyLoyola") FOR A MEDICATION ... read more
