My husband just returned from a trip to the Vestal Lowe’s...and it was not a good one. He needed another five gallon pail of Valspar season flex flat white...and was told it was out of stock. No discussion, or offer of options...only can’t help you! My husband did finally...after coaxing the staff to offer information...did purchase the paint. So you can’t use a Lowes gift card if it’s not purchased in your name?!? Just tried to use one my fiancé bought but they won’t allow it?! How are you supposed to buy gift cards as gifts if the recipient CANT USE THEM????? What a load of garbage. What a way to damage your brand. Great job!
In general I have been happy with Lowe's but at this moment I am very disappointed, in particular with employee 'Dave' in flooring who was not helpful at all when I was trying to contact an individual I had been working with. Dave just said 'I don't know' when I asked for Dave being around. He didn't want to try to find out either and finally have back and forth Dave hung up on me and wouldn't give me his last name. Never again, Lowe’s. I have spent tons of money here and every time I am frustrated by the experience. Usually, it is difficult to get a knowledgeable associate to help you. The checkout lines are long and slow moving. The latest was my purchase of a dishwasher with installation. The installation guy was great, but Lowe’s service was awful. First, they scheduled the install before the dishwasher was in stock. Then, I was assured that the dishwasher had arrived. Was told by Lowes Front St they had a decent supply of Facade backsplash, I get there and there are 6. I asked for help and finally the worker checked the computer and it showed they had 17 but couldn't find the other 11. Didn't sell me the right corner piece. Then I went to the lights for the garage and they had 4 tagged that said discontinued not for sale, why have them hanging there then? Same way with Front St. Lowes. Very disappointed making a special trip to Vestal.
Don't ever buy carpet from LOWE'S ... had carpet installed and found out it was defective (from their inspector). 4 months later we are still trying to get it repaired / replaced. All they do is run you in circles
