WORST experience. I am the seller's agent and owner of a home that was being sold by a Lender Depot borrower. Their processor was ERICA O. She was ill prepared, inefficient, inept, untrustworthy, unprofessional and ignorant. The contract had a last day to close date, and the loan docs were being completed while we were closing. It was an awful stressful experience with this pathetic company and had they been better prepared, all of this could have been alleviated.

We have been working with Loan Depot since November to refinance our home. All went well at first, until Loan Depot discovered that we did not qualify for a FHA loan because our site condo association was not approved by HUD. Think this should have been one of the first things verified before sending loan to underwriting. Then we proceeded with a conventional refinance. Seriously an A+ rating! In Oct./Nov. we dealt with Stephon M. The appraisal was for more than was required and we had submitted all the paperwork and were waiting for the final notary phase. Then he stopped communicating at the same time that interest rates went up. They told us we would get our appraisal fee of $595 back - still waiting!

I applied for information on Lending Tree for mortgage refinance information. Lending Tree will also be gettin negative review. Lending Tree gave out my contact info to Loan Depot and they harassed me. So much so I would never do business with either Lending Tree or Loan Depot ever again. If Loan deport was %20 cheaper than the competition I'd still go with the competition. They called me up to three or four times a day asking me to refi my house. AWFUL experience. Courtney was my initial contact; I submitted all the paperwork. This refinance started October 3rd, paid the money to have an appraisal done and nothing has happened since. I have spoken with at least 3 different people about my loan refinance in the beginning. I have made multiple phone calls and sent emails to get a resolution. worst company to deal with!!! They lost our information not once, not twice, but three times. We were lied to about fees and the closing costs, and then advised to wire incorrect closing cost fees, which required additional fees from our bank. prior to closing, requested a management to contact us regarding poor service ... three months later, still waiting for the call.

I have purchased multiple homes and refinanced or modified a number of times. This is absolutely the worst company I have ever worked with. The initial contact went well. We were told closing costs would not exceed $2,700. We paid $450 for an appraisal which came in extremely low. That's ok. For a point we can still finance you. Lost rate lock. That's ok.
