AWFUL experience. Jonathan T was my initial contact and I was told this would close in 30 days.... well guess what that was JULY and it closed in November... in the interim, my rate changed, my credit destroyed, closing fees far higher than i was quoted, paperwork delays, the closer was just beyond frustrating, didnt return calls or emails, i was in to deep or would have cancelled. NIGHTMARE COMPANY AND NOW MY PAYMENTS ARE HIGHER THAN QUOTED AND I WAS TOLD 30 DAYS TO 1ST PAYMENT AND BEING TOLD ITS ALREADY DUE AND IM LATE!!!!... read more

Loan depot did a awesome job! I had compared different lenders and they did not do a good cash out and I have good credit. but loan depot had so many option and the option was great! I recommend this lender than most of others.. because Robin and Maggie are very direct with their customer. thank you for keeping me inform with everything.

Terrible customer service. All was good until the appraisal was completed. Even before the results returned, phone calls went straight to voice mail and were not returned. Weeks went by. In the meantime I received documents showing the loan amount going up *was told originally that the loan amount could not go over a certain amount* and the payment going up. I was told the rate was 'locked' in until Dec 5th. I finally got someone to contact me, on Dec 5th. Was told they would extend the lock for 7 days but nothing happened. ... read more

I am very displeased with this company. I wanted to refinance before I purchased a small business. This was four months ago. The loan officer KNEW that I was refinancing before I purchased, and we were supposed to close at the end of Oct or beginning of Nov. I let them know that I was going to have to go ahead and put the money on the table for the business I was purchasing. I was told, no prob, go ahead. It is December - Heard nothing. Refinance Loan.We were honest about my husband only having his current job for 5 months and the first person we talked to assured us that it would not be a problem. Second person that was to finish the loan process was very unprofessional, the processor would never answer my questions or return my calls so i had to start dealing with supervisor. Loan Depot did my refi and handle it very professional they gave me every update that I needed to successfully be approved my loan broker stayed in contact with me every step of the way on signing on funding I think you very much for all the help

I have been attempting to refinance 3 different properties since the beginning of October '16: 1 primary and 2 investment. I was given a rate lock on 10/6, then each time I was asked for documentation, I provided it within 1-3 business days. Despite that, they were unable to close and when the lock expired in mid-November, did not offer to extend it w/o cost. Instead, the current estimate, which is due to expire tomorrow, has addl points. To make it worse, I suspect they'll do the same tomorrow: tell me that there's one more... read more

We are working on a loan from Loandepot and they are beyond the doubt the worst home loan co. we have ever dealt with the loan has been in process for four months and the underwriters just keep finding something more they need. This co is so unprofessional if you want a loan go somewhere else
