Heather Hwang was my lender officer for my refi, I choose Loan Depot because of her honesty during my preselection process on who I was going to choose. I called a few other companys regarding refi before I called Loan Depot and none of them came close to truly caring about what was really best for me like Heather displayed. She even told me I needed to wait a couple of months to get what I wanted and I did wait and her word was truthful, I got exactly what I wanted...Thanks Heather!

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They say anything to get your business and them don't follow through. When I started the loan process they promised that the loan would be done it 45 days, then they hired an appraiser that didn't show up until after the rate lock expired, They said that they extended the rate lock but that was just another lie. When they wanted to close they raised the rate, with no notice.

Daryl L of loan depot, assisted me in getting a home loan. He was very knowledgeable and helpful through the entire process. Loan Depot is very lucky in finding such an outstanding employee representing their Company. I would refer anyone I know to loan depot and ask for Daryl L to help them with a loan.
I am very unhappy with my Loan Depot experience. After initial contact we reached a tentative proposal that seemed quite reasonable. After that came a series of calls with confusing comments. There often seemed great urgency on their part to get me to look at a simple document on line, once reviewed there was not action required from me and apparently no action taken by loan depot for days or weeks. I have a home in the best neighborhood in Michigan; a corner house close to a major park and a private prestigious school. This part of the city is very much in demand. Over-promising and under-delivering. I am currently trying to refinance 1st mortgage and get cash out to renovate. 30 years in my house so this is not my first rodeo. They are quick to call you but it seems as if the loan officers don't really know what the underwriters are looking for.
