Terrible experience. The loan taker lied from beginning and misled me completely. His name is Nick ******, no one should do business with this person. He said he only needed info to give me a rate quote, but actually started processing a loan app.He kept saying info only needed for the quote, but would not explain. It was great that we got our interest rate lower for a 15 year mortgage. Justin W initially was great on follow ups and addressing my concerns at the initial phase. I made it easy for him to promptly provide documents needed. However, the towards the closing part, Justin W and Jennifer M seemed to have a disconnect in terms of having the same information received from me. This is simply the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. I have been a Realtor for the past 3 years and have bought and sold homes in the past and never have I experienced such incompetence. Loan officer didn't know the program so we tried it the next month and they still couldn't get it done. He told me he checked with his managers and they all said it could get done but to no avail. I have recently completed a refinance. The entire process went exceedingly well from start to finish. I was able to lower my rate and my term. Marcus and Brittany were exceptional. Everything was delivered exactly as promised.

I would love to share my LoanDepot experience. Closings are usually tiresome with all the document signing. My experience with LoanDepot has been the exact opposite. It has been the absolute most pleasant experience I have ever had with a refinance. I’ve never had an unpleasant closing experience mind you. Her name is Sandra but she has disappeared after inflicting us with an unsupportable so-called "appraisal" in which the lazy appraiser allegedly drove past our home then compared it to places much smaller and older. I just hung up with the 3rd person, a Ryan E. at Loan Depot (the 3rd since I began w Loan Depot) and I am simply seeing red. I am an investor and my plan was to borrow against a property that I owned free and clear initially back in 2015. After being 'approved' I went through all the rigors of financing with inspections and the rest, only to be told that I had not owned the property long enough and that I would need to wait until March 2016.
