This is a sales pitch company. I spoke with Michael W, I gave him information that should have been enough information to give me a quote. He said " I can only give you a quote buy running your credit report" I gave him the information that a local bank had already run two days before. I would like to say the lender I dealt with Cheryl W**** wasn't forth coming at all. She only told me what "she" thought was important. After conducting my own research and through due diligence I realized this. She wasn't timely or professional. Things were constantly on hold due to her and literally on the closing day she was disclosing important information to me. The company don't have good internal communication and made my first home buying process very unpleasant thank god im over their company!

I was offered to refinance through loan depot and the loan officer (sales rep) repeatedly lied about the benefits of a refinance. I told him that we would need to refinance in 9 months and asked him if we paid no money out of pocket if we would have a smaller principal remaining at that time then if we just stayed on our current loan. He kept assuring me that he ran the numbers and that we would be saving about $4,000 during that time. I filled out a form to get an instant quote on a refinance. The next day I get a call from Loan Depot mortgage fiancé person Gary G. He wanted my SSN and I said I don't give that out over the phone. He tried to convince me to give it to him. I said no and good bye. Less than a minute later he called again and started harassing me for my SSN again. I did a lot of research on different lenders and all had some positive and negative reviews, some more negative than positive. After speaking with numerous lenders it was Jay H. at Loan Depot who was the first that absolutely knew what type of refinance loan I would qualify for. Others had given me completely incorrect information - they obviously did not know their business well. Jay was very informative without being pushy. This is a loan business from a virtual office with bunch of gigolos who don't know the ABC of financing. While I had an approved loan from another vendor and closing date, I was misled by loan depot for a better rate and less closing cost and after 4 weeks of yada yada I heard from one of their land officer about ? income / debt ratio. Are you kidding me?

David Gutierrez contacted me via phone and stated that he was part of the retention team. I immediately informed him that I had started the refi process with another lender, and he stated that he could beat whatever that lender was offering. So, I continued the call. David asked me my current rate and monthly payment. I asked why he needed my rate and he responded to know what I qualified for (he would use it to determine my debt-income ratio). A couple months ago I was in the process of refinancing my home mortgage with my currently mortgage company. I was contacted by Johnny *** with Loan Depot and he was able to get me a much better rate than what PennyMac (my current loan holder) was offering. He was very helpful and answered all of our questions. He was also very patient with us considering my wife and I have never been through a refinance before and we weren't familiar with the process. We are very satisfied with the customer service we received.

Mike R was our Licensed Lending Officer and Mindy M was our Sr. Account Manager/processor. Both provided excellent customer service, our loan was handled exceptionally well, and they were extremely professional and prompt throughout the entire process.
