I have always done all my financing through large brick and mortar lending institutions. I was a little skeptical to try Loan Depot. But the whole process was very easy and efficient. It only took 5 weeks to fund a refinance during the busiest time ever for refi's.(March/April 2020). Three additional family members have funded with Loan Depot without any problems since mine was funded. Highly Recommend!!!!

Loan Depot did not give us good service. We were lied to from beginning to end. We came into the process thinking we would have to go FHA. Our lender told us he could get us approved through USDA. We let him know about our taxes. He continued telling us we were okay. After we had past the date were we couldn't get our earnest money back our lender stop communicating with us. We were already almost a month in. Our closing date was on April 20th. He continued to let us dish out money knowing that we were getting approved for t... read more

Disappointing at best. Little communication. Overcharged on disclosed fees. We signed our loan documents on April 3rd. Still no final documentation received. Coming up on 30 days.

It was a messy, fraudulent process to deal with Loandepot. The loan officer Mike M****** lied to us from the beginning about rate lock and even so they cannot close the loan after 60 days of rate lock.
