Loan Depot is the worst mortgage loan company I’ve ever seen. It’s taken as of now five months for them to approve a loan. I have been put off and Stalled. And still not approved. I have sent them document after documents. And they never tell me if they received it. Absolutely ridiculous. I would not recommend Loan Depot to anyone. They are the worst.

worst company, We wanted to refinance out home with the VA terms. all the paperwork was done. then today I received an email from James L** saying that they could not offer us a refinance because the paperwork as not complete. I had been leaving voice mails and emails for several weeks asking if there was any thing else they needed. No response

Kim B***** is the worst experience I have ever dealt with. During the financing of my home Kim "forgot" to add my property taxes to my escrow account and I was sent a $3,000 unexpected bill at the end of the year. Secondly, when I attempted to call Kim to fix the situation she never answered her phone and still has not responded over the timeframe of 1 year. Loan depot itself is also a terrible company. Swift, easy, thorough. Frank's experience actually provided ME with an education about the business and process. He's friendly and efficient. Clearly explaining the process and next steps. He was always available for questions when I needed answers or clarification. He was Great! I actually will recommend him personally to people I know seeking a mortgage or a re-fi.

I began my experience with loan depot giving it 5 stars. But after the loan was passed to the underwriting team - the experience was horrific. It’s been 6 weeks since the appraisal and THEY STILL have not finished. Closing documents were signed 2 weeks ago. My credit score is over 800!! There is no excuse fir this kind of delay that is keeping me hostage from making other decisions in my life. DO NOT go with loan depot for your loan. I wish I hadn’t.

Loan Depot has competitive rates. But what makes this company stand apart from the rest is the honesty and integrity of the loan agents. Especially Travis Hudson.

What a racket! The day after the appraisal, at a cost of $500, I was denied the loan. Now I have a $500 appraisal that I have no use for. Cannot get a response from anyone that I worked with about a refund. Very disappointed in loanDepot.

I refinanced my primary residence with Loan depot and upon closing had my back begin submitting AutoPay for the mortgage and escrow amounts. The loan closed in July and I successfully made payments for three months. I had occasion to have my credit union pull my credit report for a different loan only to find a late payment submitted by Loan depot to all three credit reporting agencies. I had three loans processed by loan depot. Their message says they “pride themselves in having the best customer service in the industry.” Having worked with several other lenders, I would rank Loan Depot at the very bottom in customer service. They have a dashboard that is generic enough that gives very little information and leaves the client in the dark as to where in the process the loan is.
