Loan Depot was a great lender to work with. Our Agent Carter was so helpful and did a outstanding job getting our deal closed in a very short amount of time without any unexpected surprises. The communication was great and the whole process was truly painless, which is unbelievable when purchasing a home. I would use LoanDepot and Carter anytime we will need them in the future. We are so pleased with our Loan Depot transaction.

Refinanced with someone else and lied to when my escrow would be returned told that be closed out may 6 and still hasn't been refunded yet. And was denied when asked to speak to a supervisor

We started our refinance process with Loan Depot on January 27, 2021. We sent them all the documents requested within 2 days. After several months of being asked to re-send either documents we had already sent, or additional copies of bank statements because the previous ones had "timed out", we were finally told today that because most of our assets are in land, we do not qualify. Took more than four months to close a refinance. No communication nor response to inquiries. Rate lock expired and they added thousands of dollars to my closing cost, and only took it out after a social media review and complaints to upper management.

Somehow Loan Depot got a hold of my personal information and has literally been calling me several times a day for months, both on my personal cell phone and my business line. I always sternly tell them to stop harassing me and to stop contacting me every time they call. Then what happens? They call back again in a few hours to pitch their service all over again. Loan Depot has one of the most harassing and predatory practices in the business. Loan Depot does not deserve even a single Star.

I think an investigation needs to be launched into how badly this loan agent Grace Fedroff screwed up our loan. Like I can’t imagine enough poor things to say about this experience with Grace Fedroff. When you look in the dictionary under worst customer service ever you will find her. I will never use this agent in the future. I am going out of my way to warn as many people as possible about Grace Fedroff.

Please do not use this company. I have an excellent credit score and make an income. I was trying to refi my existing mortgage which was a very clear cut process. Loandepot made everything hard. They all work on CA time and never answer the calls. My title company told me they were finding it hard to work with Loandepot because no one would answer calls and they would constantly ask for the same information over and over again, which was also a problem I faced with Ms AngTran who was my loan processor.
