The refinance process was quick and seamless. The the representatives were very knowledgeable, helpful and personable. They gave updates often and checked in with me even when there were no updates to give. I was never left guessing which I really appreciated. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase or refinance a home.

This was our first time to try an online lender. We received several quotes and were shopping for not only the best interest rate but lower closing costs as well. While we ended up with a decent interest rate, I wish we would have walked away early in the process. The loan officers did not understand our situation, but also did not understand that they did not understand. They kept saying they had everything they needed to go forward, and I kept telling them, no, they did not. Then weeks would go by and they would ask for the thing they told me I did not need weeks earlier. Initial set up was quick and easy but because so many people were refinancing (low rates) it took longer than expected. Overall, satisfied with process.

I'm not sure where all the negative reviews are from but in Northern Virginia, the team here was great. They made everything simple in order to execute and get to closing. They are established and understand the ins and outs of the industry, especially this very difficult market. I would say that they take the time to get to know you which makes it a little easier. John and Sandy let me know what they needed and there was no guessing involved. I am very satisfied...

I had a very unpleasant experience with loandepot,the process took close to six months before closing.The notary asigned for my closing kept me waiting for 30 minutes and when he finally showed up was so arrogant and when I reached out to the loan officer to file a complaint she was very non responsive. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone

Definitely felt like a used car scam. Promised the moon, delivered nothing. Never followed through, never called back, never answered email. Was more than happy to take the appraisal fee, without scheduling an appraisal. "Exceptional customer service is our top priority.
