Hello! My husband and I applied for a refinance with LoanDepot back in July 2021. In the beginning, we were getting great responses from *** (loan officer) but when our loan went to processing, ********* (loan processor) called and introduced herself as our processor and said she would keep us updated on the process of our loan. This was the 3rd time we've used Loan Depot and they have always made the process so easy! You just can't go wrong with these guys!
******** was a really nice person to work with, but this process seemed a bit like a bait and switch to run my credit and get me "hooked" since the initial quote was based on an escrow that was way too low... like $1000/mo too low- so it looked like any option was going to equate to a significantly lower payment. Magically the lower escrow payment equated to a cash to close maxing out the 36 mo recoup mandate for the VA IRRL.... Weird, eh? It was a complicated mortgage. The loan officer was extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain our various options. During the process we changed our minds on the terms of our mortgage. He was patient and supportive during it all.
They were very efficient and friendly. The loan was completed from start to finish much quicker than we expected. I would recommend them to anyone needing loan assistance. Thank you, Loan Depot.
Great application process, not so good with the closing process. The person I worked with during the application was great. ****** was clear and organized. When I got to the closing part, my closing was pushed back until the third time. There was a lot of last minute documents needed that should have been disclosed before the last minute.
the process has been amazing, quick, everyone has been knowledgeable and professional. I can't even explain how many rates I was quoted with different lenders and they beat them all.
****** is a outstanding asset to your team. He heard what we wanted and responded quickly with feasible options. Along with options I hadn't considered previously. ****** is a joy to work with, and I'm not sure I would have refinanced if it weren't for him.
Loan Depot reps are unhelpful, rude and snippy. Web site support is UNsupportive. I was looking for the telephone number for Loan Depot on their web site. I had to ****** the number. The rep. did not know anything about the web site and transferred me to "web site support." Web stie support "****" said he did not know anything about the web site and told me to download a document.
