Ever since I was young I had a love for science and the human body and I wanted to apply this passion to help people on a personal level. Becoming a doctor granted me the art of being able to connect with people while treating their disease and/or ailments. In conclusion, patient's concerns and preferences are always a priority in my mind on forming treatment plans and I feel this is an important part to maintaining the patient-to- physician relationship and key to treating disease.

New location is easy to access, has covered parking and is bright & cheerful.
From the beginning to the end, my experience getting a colonoscopy with Dr. Lisa Alvarez was stress-free. I know this sounds strange considering the type of procedure, but it was even quite pleasant. Dr. Alverez is caring and personable. She asks the the right questions, is on time, thorough, easy to talk to with great follow up. I highly recommend Dr. Alverez.
Had a preliminary consultation with Dr Alvarez and I really liked her. She seems reasonable is her prescription of tests and follow ups. Only complaint was how long it took to get in to see her.
While visiting in Dallas symptoms /lab tests from Urgent Care required me to see a doctor. Internet reviews led me to Dr Lisa Alvarez. Called on Monday got appt for Wed. Dr Alvarez is extremely knowledgeable, professional, quickly Id’d the issue and cause, up to date on meds and technology, thoroughly explains in layman terms, exam not hurried, calming bedside manner and very thorough. Recently I had a visit with Dr. Alvarez. Dr. Alvarez is the only doctor that I feel totally comfortable with. She always trys to help when I tell her about my most recent complaints. I have put off having this procedure for several years. I dreaded the thought of it. Since several family members were diagnosed with colon cancer, I knew I needed to go through with it. I am relieved I did. My colon looks great. Dr. Alvarez was very comforting and put all of my fears to rest. I definitely recommend her for all of your gastrointestinal needs.
The whole experience was quick & painless. The entire staff was very efficient & professional.
