I sent in an old vari-x 2 pre-74 that stopped holding center to be fixed. They sent a new vx-2 as a replacement. Now this is what customer service is all about.
After 74 yrs my scope fogged over. I sent it in and it could not be repaired so they sent me a brand new scope with new mounts. A1 customer service and just an outstanding product.
I recently got my hands on a old beat up vx2 scope. And it was blurry and just not usable. I called leupold and was honest about not being the original owner and it looked like that scope had been beat up and not takin care of. They told me to send it in and they would see what they could do. About a month later I received a brand new scope of the same model of no charge to me. I lost my battery cap out of my range finder in Leopold not responded I don't know why
In the market for a new pair of binoculars but I can't decide between Vortex or Leupold. If Leupold had the same warranty as Vortex I would buy the Leupold in a heart beat.
I have a few riflescopes and a pair of binos. Recently discovered some shards of glass behind one of the objectives causing some weird reflections while glassing, particularly towards the sun, shipped them off expecting them to be gone for at least a month...had a new pair of BX3 Mojave's in a week. Very impressed with the customer service!
