Received only one item in a 2-pack. Spent 51 minutes on the telephone waiting for first, then second rep. Apparently Leslie's systems showed that only one item was shipped. Rather than immediately sending the second item, the response was "we'll look into this to see what happened. This of course is an internal issue - should not be my problem. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

In addition to being a new ******** ***** Arizona resident, I'm a first-time pool owner as well. Our former homeowner recommended our local Leslie's as a good resource especially if I was not going to retain a weekly pool service. Sue and her colleagues at our local Leslie's have always been very helpful and welcoming even when I showed up more than once-a-week for complimentary water testing and advice despite my pool chemistry ignorance. I feel deceived and misled by Leslie's Pool. Last week I went into Leslie's retail store at 90th and Shea and inquired about buying a new pool pump and filter-and was told by Chris, the assistant manager there -who also wrote it down at the time-about the sale prices and the "special" that was also posted nearby stating: "Free Installation" and an extended warranty on the Jacuzzi Pro Grade Cartridge Filter. Today I called and spoke with the woman who just took over the business. The only thing I got out of my entire conversation with her is " we have a new computer system, it's not our responsibility to keep up with your purchase"... REALLY? She said they don't keep records there.... what about an audit? What proof do you have about my purchase? She was NO help at all and very abrupt. I'm so angry.

Getting the run around the store and the corporate office. We purchased a Hayward Goldline salt cell from the store, brought back in 18 months, it has failed again in 14 months and now they are telling us that they not only do not sell Hayward Goldline but even though we have the original receipt with the correct SN # - both with the same product name AND model they are denying our warranty as it's an older product. This is my first review ever! But after my experience I had no choice but to write a review…I have been a customer of Leslie’s for many years and they have been great for everyday supplies and such. However, if you are planning on making a bigger purchase, beware! I purchased a pool cleaner for $970 about 4 years ago with the understanding that Leslie’s has a lifetime free labor guarantee and all I would have to do is purchase the broken part. RIP OFF ALERT - They did a warranty replace on a pool pump motor 4 months ago. The cheap replacement burned up today and the won't warranty the replacement.

Horrible service.They would not replace a motor I had under warranty they are crooks. They want 400 for a brand new motor when we still have a warranty for the one they last brought from under a year ago. We do not have the money to waste on this and are barely able to stay in our house as is. it would be appreciated if Leslie's could honor their end of a deal with a pool contractor for a warrantied motor but it appears they are not capable of it.So essentially, we had a contractor out for the motor within a year, got a new ... read more

Another unpleasant interaction with the new manager at Leslie's on Silverbell in Tucson. She makes me feel stupid for asking for what I came in to buy. She's gruff and surly. Today, she told me I was using Fresh N Clear wrong. So I read the instructions that are printed on the package out loud, which are in line with how I use it. She walked off saying "Well, I guess you don't need my help then." I won't give her any more opportunities to irritate me.
