I brought in a "Pool Cleaner" currently "Hayward" for repair. One wheel kept jamming resulting in the system not turning, running in straight lines or not moving at all. Brought the cleaner to Leslie's in Queen Creek, was assured that after replacing the wheels and several of the gears it would work perfectly. Parts were ordered and installed. We used to buy a lot of things for our pool at Leslie's, from footies to chemicals, until recent..... Not planning to use them anymore. We got a big problem with our pool water this year. So, we went to Leslie's to test out water and get a treatment, since they claim to be experts. They are NOT!!! My husband spent a lot of money there and dumped dozens of pounds of chemicals, according to their recommendations, but they water kept getting worse and worse. I would NEVER recommend Leslie's Pools to anyone. We decided to buy our in-ground Hayward pool vacuum from Leslie's Pools because of the mail in rebate they were offering, never having dealt with the company before. We could not have made a graver mistake. The customer service we received was horrible from the start. Our credit card was initially charged twice. This company is trying to monopolize the pool supply industry by buying up all their competition. Along the way they have become unreasonably greedy with some product markups at 1000%. Most of their products are chinese junk. My local mom and pop independent pool supply stores are considerably cheaper with better products. Guess where I will shop? Hope you choke on your profits Leslies.
Barry needs to be fired. Lies, doesn't acknowledge female customers, never gets back to a customer, refuses to refund money even with the receipt. Sells items not needed and are the most expensive in the category to customers. I told him he was losing multiple accounts he just said who cares. We bought a pool pump motor and other items in advance, pool turned black waiting on technician to arrive, excuse after excuse, still no technician. Horrible customer service. Went to their store to purchase a pump for my pool and the cashier was very rude. The transaction felt rushed and she did not answer any of my questions.
Employee hit my car with a cart and then continued to ram my truck to get my attention to load the truck with salt I just bought. When I got out of the truck finally, he asked me where I wanted the salt. I drive a pick up truck. He was just too lazy to load it. The manager was very unpleasant and didn't believe me. Never again. Spent $60.00 on what they said would fix the pool . Nothing happen! Still green! They have no clue what they are doing. And they look down on you if you don't have a million dollar built in!
I went in today to get one gallon, yes just one gallon of the rubberized pool paint which they show on their shelf. The young man told me that they had plenty in stock, however, he could not sell it to me because a manager had to be there. The manager would not be there until tomorrow. Well, it is supposed to rain and I had already purchased 6 cans of this stuff but now that I drove all the way there, I cannot get just one gallon.
