My mom waited 6 hours in the emergency room and another 6 in a bed - in the hallway. Not even a room. Given one glass of water and a dried out chicken sandwich. Can you say substandard? I can.
6+ hour wait for a legitimate emergency with a pregnant woman having serious complications...unacceptable. Although there were other people waiting for more than 7 hours before leaving to go elsewhere. At least the doctor was very nice once she got in and thankfully it was not too late for the baby or this would be on a completely different level.

By far the best Hospital I have ever dealt with. Everyone from the Doctors, Nurses to the Tech Partners were super friendly and very professional. My grandmother received first class care. Thank you Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, especially 5 Kasych Pavillion!
