Leaf guard send a representative who clearly mislead us by saying we didnt need a section of gutter that was on our house already and without that section of gutter we are having damage done our deck because of the missing section . We went with his suggestion of not putting a section of gutter there because we just move into the house and we figure he is the expert. It has be on going problem to have leaf guard come out to fix the problem , I have call multiple times to customer service. They will not get me a email address... read more

This company is terrible. Their customer service *****. I have had an issue for months, where the downspout is leaking an enormous amount of water, causing it to fall straight down on my foundation. I had to have the foundation built back up by a landscaper, and the drainage problem with the gutter has still not been resolved. I call their support number, and get transferred, and then the line cuts off. Every time I call! Don't do business with this company!

I had the LeafGuard system installed by the Chicago-area office 2 years ago and it started leaking after one year. It took many ************** for the local Chicago LeafGuard to send someone who clearly didn't know how to resolve the problem. The gutter system now leaks in multiple places. Since I had the system installed, evidently ownership of this office has changed and new crew is totally unresponsive. The salesman bored me for 3 hours. I asked for the quote. He did some fast scribbling and quoted $28,000. Yep, $28,000 for a 1 story **** Sq. ft. house. I was shocked and promptly said 'no'. He the called a mgr. and got ut down to $16,000. Again no. He was getting desperate so he came up with this offer. If I would give him $5,000 they could install a section at a time until the $16,000 was pId.I felt he was trying to intimidate ne since I qm in my 80's. It is unfortunate that the LeafGuard product is represented by the branch in ********** , **. We have had the LeafGuard gutters for years and were very satisfied with the actual gutter system. Recently, we had our gutters removed by the ********** LeafGuard branch to have some home repairs and a new roof installed. When the repairs were completed the gutters were rehung by this branch. I bought the leaf guard system about 2 years. The saleman was pushy and quoted me a price that was out of this world.after lowering the price two or three times I agreed with the price, that was a big mistake, very much overpriced. The system has never operated correctly. The rain runs over the top of the guard onto the ground.A technician has been here two or three times and always has some reason that it is not the system. We had a person come out to give us a quote, salesman showed up late, never got a confirmation call for the appointment. When the salesman did show up my husband told him he was late and we were no longer interested. The man walked away after arguing with my husband and came back 2 minutes later and pounded on the door. leafguard system was overflowing 4 years after install. said it was not covered by the initial 2 year warrenty. said i needed to have it looked at. charged $474.00 to send 2 guys out who spent a total of 10 minutes looking at it and doing a quick "adjustment". next rain (over a month past when they came out )it overflowed again. i managed to determine the problem and fix it myself. feel this price was exorbitent considereing the time spent and total lack of expertise by the "techs" sent to solve the problem. total rip off. i... read more

We contacted LeafGuard because we were seeking estimates for gutter and fascia replacement. A sales person came out to our house for what we were told was a 90-min inspection.He stayed for more than 3 hours, refusing to leave, pitching us hard, and insisting to my husband that I needed to see his photos of how bad our gutters were. (I work from home and was on calls while he was here.
