The issue is not with the product but the installation. After the installers left I found several screws from the old gutters and the new. Some were in the driveway. Fortunately not in my tires. I called to complain and was told the installation manager would contact me. It never happened. I filled a complaint on their web site, no response. I guess once they have the product installed and paid for, they could care less about that customer. ***** **

Overpriced gutters with high pressure sales. The sales pitch was like 30 minutes long, standing outside cause of social distancing. It's uncomfortable. More pushy than car sales people. We basically thanked him for his time, ran back into our house and lock the door cause he aggressively tried to close the deal. Just because the salesman spends an hour at the location, business is business. It doesn't change anything when we were insanely quoted for 13-15k. Roughly the same cost of hiring a team to do a roof replacement. A g... read more

A salesperson quoted 20 foot project on my property for $3200. He is trying to rip off the owner and it’s disgusting. This should be against the law. She’s a woman that lives by herself and fell for the ripoff. It’s not about the product. It’s about allowing an employee or salesperson to add so much on top of what is costs to buy and install that it’s pure greed and just horrible to trick someone that is on a fixed income and doesn’t know any better. I will be call our state about this and our county.

Business response:

From my research it costs $37 average per linear foot for product and install. This would be $740 plus 25% for standard sales charge. Let’s call it $1000. Let’s go ahead and add another 25% so about $1250. Just to be fair. This person is charging her $3200 dollars. Please know this is a very small area and it’s just sad that someone would even be that gutsy to even try and rip off someone that much. This means this individual in my opinion is and has already gotten away with it. Disgusting. Horrible. Sad!

I made three different appointments for estimates with this company and all three times they did not show.

I contacted LeafGuard through their website to obtain a price for their gutter system to be installed on my house near ********* NC. It's a very basic project of 185 feet of gutters on a simple house with no oddities and no complications. I'm just replacing my older gutters with a newer solution to eliminate annual cleaning. After submitting my information through the LeafGuard website, they called me later the same day to set up a time to meet. I told them they're welcome to come by anytime to obtain any measurements and de... read more

Requesting a quote from leafgaurd is like asking to sit through a time share presentation from any "will take no fro an answer salesman". My 90 minute estimate lasted 2 hours and 20 minutes. Now, let me say I am not a novice in the world of construction. I work in commercial construction as a project superintendent, and regularly oversee multi million dollar construction projects. I understand how gutters are constructed, what they do and general costs of materials and installation. We contacted leafgaurd because I do believ... read more

Had these gutters put on against my better judgement they are WAY overpriced, the sales pitch started out at $7000 something and when I finally agreed and offered $4500 they jumped on it. I should have known better then, they did the install okay left holes in the facia and had to come back to fix, which they just covered so you couldn't see them and they put screens in the down spouts to catch any debris, should see the leaves I pulled out and it's not even Fall yet. I have a small house the price should have been less than... read more

High pressure sales, outright lies from sales person. Gave us a reference and we checked with them. The reference recommended to never use Leaf Guard for three reasons: high pressure sales for unnecessary work, massively overpriced and lack of delivery once contract signed. After we talked to several neighbors with the system who recommended to not install I cancelled. First they admit that almost $4,000 of the bid was unnecessary work and ask us to keep the contract. Cancelled anyway. Sales person didn’t even ask why we can... read more

Business response:

LeafGuard regrets that the customer chose not to move forward with installation of the LeafGuard system. LeafGuard stands by our products and services and would like to have resolved the customers concerns, however respects the customers final decision to go another route. We encourage *** ******* to reach out to discuss with management if they wish to do so, their contact would be welcomed.
