Awesome Accomodation! – I'm vegetarian, so I don't usually enjoy it whenever I get asked to eat out with friends. Last weekend my friends made an evening reservation at Le Castagne. Am I in Italy?! – I can say that this is one of the best Italian places here in Philadelphia. This very modern-looking restaurant serves up an excellent menu of Northern Italian cuisine. On my first visit, I tried the Gnocchi al Tartufo Bianco. It was excellent! The gnocchi was surprising light and you can feel it melting in your mouth with every bite. All I Can Say – All I can say is outstanding restaurant! The value and service I received were first class from the decor, to the quality of the food. The gnocchi di patate alla sorrentina has to be the best pasta dish I?ve ever had hands down ! (sorry mom)

Lets go Again! – I LOVE Le Castagne I?ve waited for so long to eat here with my family for lunch and finally it happened! My hubby surprised me saying we were going to the home depot for some tools. But instead brought us to eat here, to my surprise it was better than I expected. The servers were prompt, courteous and friendly, the food was awesome, my husband ate enough seafood for 3 and what a wine selection to die for. I can?t wait to do it again, Wonderful.

Good Food, manager a cold S.O.B. – Took my mother there for mothers day last May. Arrived 15 minutes earlier than my reservation. Sat at the bar and waiting for about 30 minutes, but I was patient because the place was packed. Watched a table of 8 get seated before me (that arrived well after me)....so I asked the hostess when my table would be ready. poor service, average food-ZERO stars – We recently had dinner at le castagne with family visiting from europe. The service was terrible from the moment we walked in the door. The hostess had trouble locating the reservation although it was confirmed. The wait staff was disinterested and seemed bored with their duties. The waiter who came to give the specials had difficultly describing them and acted as if he didn't know what the food was via his delivery and pronounciation. just right! – We went here the night before our daughter's college graduation. It was "just right" in that the service level, food quality, and overall atmosphere made us feel that we were experiencing a "special" night. Prices were on the higher side, but for what we were looking for, the restaurant really worked well.
