My Le Castagne Review My office just had dinner at Le Castagne last week and we were surprised by its splendor. Nice ambiance that captures the essence of Italy. It's like they are bringing Italy right at your table.

Impressive! – Le Castagne is by far the best Italian restaurant in Philly. I am so impressed with the food we ordered. They're all delicious, most especially the seafood dish. It had perfectly cooked shrimp, clams, mussels and calamari. The sauce was sooo good that I wanted to drink it. I do hope I can get the chance to eat there again.

Fantastic Night at Le Castagne – I had a fantastic night at Le Castagne. Everything went fine - from the ordering of food to billing out. The waiters are very friendly and attentive. And what I love most is that we weren't rush to order something. The food also was amazingly delicious. Two thumbs up!

Good Food, Good People! Excellent place! Le Castagne is as close to perfection as any restaurant is going to get. The food was glorious. Everything was prepared and presented with elegance and high-regard. I had the Peperone ripieno and Gnocchi al tartufo bianco as they were both recommended in previous reviews and they were both delicious. If you have been to Italy and know how good their food there is, all you have to do is go to this place and your taste buds will think you are there.

Awesome Last March when I visited Philly I went to Le Castagne and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Therefore, it was only but natural that I go again the moment I went back to this Philly. Did I enjoy my meal this time around, yes! Their standards have been maintained and they have kept every meal as authentic as possible. Staff was very welcoming and hospitable - very attentive but not overbearing. Menu had a good variety and food was wonderful! See you again, guys, on my next trip to Philly!

Italy - I Love! – I was in Italy a few years back and I will never forget the Gnocchi there. I hadn't had Gnocchi that tasted that good since, not until last night at Le Castagne. I tried the Gnocchi di Patate alla Sorrentina. It was served very quickly and tasted delicious. Their menu can be a little expensive (depends on what you order), but every bite was all worth it! I will surely frequent this place.

Magnifico!!!! Magnifico! This place is still one of my all-time favorites. The wait staff and the owner are the friendliest people I??ve ever met. It's a great family restaurant as well as a great place to take your date. Be sure to try the Gnocchi al Tartufo Bianco and Petto di Pollo alle Castagne. These two are sumptuously delightful. I also love the Italian feel in this restaurant. My friends and I had a wonderful time. The owner was really nice; he even gave us samplers of their Choco Cherry Puddings!
