Excellent accommodation have been going a long time to lakes lodges. High standards every time. Run by a lovely family. Nothing is to much trouble, they will always help. Very relaxing holiday.
Just home from another wonderful holiday at Lakes Lodges, we couldn’t fault it. Excellent location for walking in all directions and Hawkshead is a lovely village. The lodges and hot tubs are brilliant and we love that we can bring our dog. The onsite restaurant is exceptional as is the beauty salon. Looking forward to coming back in January. Thank you!!
Great place to stay. Away from the busy streets of Ambleside but only 6 miles away. Hawkshead is lovely too. Plenty places to eat/drink after a day out. Lodge was very clean, warm on entering and everything you need for your stay. Staff at reception very welcoming and helpful. They supplied an item that we were short of instantly. Also went to the bother of supplying additional pillows for us due to my brother who broke his arm during the trip. Would recommend staying here. One of our favourite places ever to visit, such a beautiful location in a fantastic village that is so quaint and everyone is so friendly. We have stayed at Lakes Lodges now 4 times and have another visit booked again for next year as we love it so much. The lodges are fabulous with lots of attention to detail and well equipped for your stay, the staff are on hand if you need them but you are also left alone to enjoy such a tranquil stay in such a gorgeous part of the country.
