Super place to stay especially if you are traveling with pets. Nice staff and relaxing place to stay. This property reminds me of summer vacations most families took a long time ago. One of the most memorable things we did was spending time at the lakeside in the evening looking at the stars. I recommend this property for a week-end getaway.
Horrible experience!! Smell of sewage, no AC on the very hot day we went there. 1 hr. just for our appetizers. 2 hours for our meal. Loud music on the deck. We could not speak among ourselves. Bad mixed drinks. Always feral cats wandering the premises. Cats spraying on the out side tables...Yuck!!
We came by boat for a recent 3 night weekend stay at the Lake House Lodge by boat. We were able to dock our boat on a dock and come and go without any of the problems a recent reviewer claimed. If the dock was full that would be the only possible reason they would have to jump out and bring the boat to shore. We stayed here as grandparents while in the area for Cooperstown Dreams Park. Our stay was great. The room was comfortable and clean, the bed was a pillow-top dream and the owners really cared about making our stay a success.
The place is just beautiful. The staff is very kind and professional. The grounds are picturesque, and the sunsets are perfect... Food here is super. Thank you.
First of all walking into this place leaves a lot to be desired the place is a mess right from the start. Second the waitress was not friendly not even a smile. Third we waited over an hour and a half for our dinner the place wasn't even that busy in the mean time waiting for our meal two cats were strolling through the place which I find very discussing that isn't the place to have animals!!! Our meal was terrible!!!!! We left a tip paid our bill but I WOULD NOT GO BACK OR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.
