You may be in upstate New York, but don't be fooled. You get NYC service and prices. Good food. Excellent service. Varied menu that is professionally prepared and presented. Bravo!
It’s an AMAZING place! The music is delightful. It’s a beautiful setting on the lake. Can’t wait to go again!!!
I'm trying to send a message to the Lake House. Do you have air conditioning in every room at the lodge?
They were about the only place open the evening after it snowed a foot that day. Lovely, quaint place that I would have chosen even if they weren't the only ones braving the snow. I had a great burger, and there was a good selection of local beers. You get the feeling like you're stepping back in time because the ceilings are so low, and there's a fireplace that looks like it's part of the original 1843 structure. Great meal values on Thursday nights also.
I had reserved a table for 8-10 ladies at 5:00. When I arrived I was graciously shown to the able--all ready set with menus, ready to go. Our server was attentive, courteous, and prompt, taking drink orders as each guest arrived. Food was graciously served. I ordered an eggplant, wild mushroom wrap with a side salad and a chilled dill pickle spear--delicious!
Had a wonderful dinner here. Our waitress was so nice. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was relaxed. Definitely would eat here again if I get back to Richfield Springs/Cooperstown.
