If you are going to allow your employees to get away with that kind of treatment toward customers no matter who they are you obviously need to be completely restaffed from floor to ceiling. Fire everyone one of you and start over. Customer service is just that serving customers do your f$&king jobs correctly...
I think this is a horrible way to treat law enforcement in your city. If you are ever robbed, I would hope you get no response from the police department, but that would not happen as they are there to serve all, even despicable business as you. Your managers obviously need more training and your employees need to do their jobs and stop making judgement calls.. If they can't do what they are paid for, they need to be fired. Period.. Any store that allows rude employees like " AJ" to refuse reasonable customers simply because of what they are wearing is a place I NEVER want to do business with. In my opinion, nothing short of termination of that employee is the right thing to do

Clean up your act. Fire the woman. Apologize to the Officer.
At no time should a employee refuse to serve a customer because of the employees beliefs. I am not allowed to pick my calls at work because of someone's profession, race, religious beliefs. The cashier that refused to check out police officer should be disciplined and to safe your image you need to make a public announcement that this has been done. As you can see you mess with the police you are going upset a whole lot of people that work as a first responder.
