This is what happens when you let lawyers run your business. What should have been a simple case of a manager saying "you won't wait on this person because they are a police officer? then you are fired, get out.". Will instead turn into a PR nightmare for the Kroger corporation. You want to allow discrimination BY an employee? Wow. Step up and do the right thing IMMEDIATELY. Stop waiting to have a board meeting to discuss it.
The issue with the angry Cashier and uncaring Manager needs to be fixed immediately. It's been taken to the Media and Corporate. Both the Cashier and Manager should be fired. She profiled the Officer which is one thing she probably is all mad about in the first place. It's a major case of Double Standards.
You should close your doors. Terrible customer service. Worse store in town
Not long ago I was shopping at my local Kroger (which I love by the way). That day was a little different because the manager had called the local police. Two cars had showed up to take care of a man that was harassing customers. How are you going to refuse to service a profession that I am sure at one point provided service to you!? Shame on this store and shame on copies the for not addressing the matter!
Will make sure everyone knows how poorly this Kroger treats treats the hard working men and women of law enforcement

I'm disgusted at your lack of customer service AND lack of management care! STOP DISCRIMINATING AGAINST POLICE OFFICERS IMMEDIATELY, AND FIRE AJ, WHO IS OBVIOUSLY A RACIST!!!!
