NEVER again will we do grocery pickup from Kroger. My mom placed an order on Monday and it said it would be ready by Wednesday. Someone calls from the store saying that the time given “is just a suggested time” and that they would call when it would be ready. Today is Thursday...my mom calls the corporate office and the lady states that she can not locate our order so she calls the Alexandria Kroger. Kroger pickup today was a trial in patience. My original pickup time was 10:00-11:00. They called this morning and said my order would not be ready until 2:00. I arrived at 2:05. There were 17 cars ahead of me in line plus five parked in the spaces. I left at 3:50. I find this unacceptable. If you can fulfill the orders on time, don’t accept them. They need to get their scheduling fixed!
The customer service was the worst ever. We ordered pick up from the store in Alexandria, we get home and more than half of our order was missing. We live 30 mins from town, so running back is really a problem. We call the store to ask them about our remaining items only to be told in a very sarcastic tone by "Sharika" and "Asst. I used to use Kroger’s floral department. I have had a few incidents that has turned me away. The last few times I tried to order they would not take the order. Not busy. Didn’t even know what I needed or when. I go today because the tent set up outside tells me they have what I am looking for in the store. Great store! Friendly, knowledgeable staff and superb products at reasonable prices. Great floral department with lots to choose from.
Customer service is in the gutter. I am done I get more pissed off everytime I go. 2 check outs open, then you have to bag your own groceries. Sorry but I will take my business where I am appreciated and it sure isn't at Krogers.
love Krogers but now only 2 cashiers and rest self checkouts. Waited 25 minutes to check out and at least 8 people behind me. it is very difficult to do self check out when you have a buggy full of groceries- the counter needs to be longer!
It will be a long time before I will return here. Very little produce to choose from. Almost all shelves empty. Nada blueberries or strawberries. Really?? It’s not like I was shopping on a Sunday evening. I am fed up. I won’t even go into the self check out lines mishaps. Ridiculous.
