My first and last experience with State Farm. Several mistakes made. I have 2 cars and 2 homes. They billed me twice on each home, an honest mistake. But they denied it despite me having my **** statement in front of me showing the double charges. Soon after, I receive another bill in the mail for an add on charge for my second home. There is no explanation what it covers and I had no warning of this added charge. I tried to change insurance agents within State Farm as I found someone nearby with good reviews. Trash company. I am having to call every day to get an update on my claim and they are trying their hardest to not take responsibility for their insured. Supposedly they say they attempt to contact their insured but one of the call center agents said they don’t call every day. There is no telling if they are actually making attempts to resolve this issue.

I was driving eastbound, straight on the very left lane on ****** ****** Rd. passing through the ********** Dr. intersection. My light was green. A car came out of the ****** ****** Mountain parking lot. On a red traffic side on her, she made a right turn while cutting onto my lane (a two-lane road on each side). I had a pipe leak inbetween 2 parallel bathrooms on my second floor. There was clear damage to the ceiling below the bathroom and it took WEEKS for them to approve demo to the first bathroom (at this moment they still haven’t approved demo to the second bathroom which also has wet floor and walls). I have an open hole in my subfloor and in the ceiling below. Was in an accident 12-15-2022, A Mexican national passed me on left shoulder of a 2 lane one way. He admitted fault, Yet State farm denied claim, I had to file on my policy. This company sucks

I have had to make third-party auto insurance claims with 3 separate insurance companies over the past two years. Those companies were Progressive, Liberty Mutual, and State Farm. Without question, the experience with State Farm has been the worst. They are completely disorganized. You would think they would assign my claim to a person and provide that person's name, telephone, and email address so we can work together in resolving the claim, but no. My son had an accident with a Geico driver. State Farm said my son was NOT at fault. Geico said their driver was only 20% at fault. I paid $500 for the deductible and $250 (20%) for the rental car. The accident happened in February 2022 almost 10 months ago. I still have not seen my money. State Farm is waiting for Geico to pay them before I get my money. State Farm has been terrible with my auto claim. We had a deer total our vehicle in November. State Farm has done nothing appropriately and even tried blaming the auto body shop. Plain and simple they have dropped the ball. It has been a month and a week and we still do not have the money from the insurance. I am switching insurance companies after this. We always pay our insurances on time. This is very disappointing and pathetic.

While we cannot share specific details in this public response, our Claims Department contacted the complainant on January 6, 2023, to address his concerns. We have reached a satisfactory resolution of this matter with the consumer.

Car insurance - 1997 Subaru with 300K miles paying 400 for 6 months of minimum liability and the car is worth 2,500. I've paid its value in insurance almost 300% why does this law of mandatory car insurance even exist your entire business model is built off bribing politicians so you can rob the poor. I have been a good driver the entirety of my existence and you take my money time and time again and offer me nothing. Shame on you.
