The hotel is nice but the staff is not the best! I would give this a two star overall. I’m glad I stayed to see what the hotel had to offer but I will be making all my future stays in Austin at The Westin. Marriott cannot beat their customer service!
As a Platinum member with Marriott I book and stay at Marriott's all over North America and Europe. Great customer service especially for platinum members and amazing facilities. I recently attended a business meeting there and was very impressed with the environment!
We always have an amazing experience at the JW Marriott Austin! Employees are so helpful and go above and beyond to be sweet to my children!! It was my son's birthday and they were so kind and brought my children a little surprise!!!
UPDATE: So no organization can avoid making mistakes. It's how they respond to the mistakes that differentiates. Within an hour of this post (and on a Sunday) Scott Blalock, the General Manager, contacted me and apologized personally. He went on to make things right.
