Nicest place I've ever stayed. And most accommodating. Went with a group of 30 and the hotel staff would go above and beyond to remedy every incontinence. One guy was accidentally charged twice and the hotel gave him a bottle of champagne after correcting the issue. Another gentleman was given a $200 credit because a homeless man, that didn't have a room there, walked in and sat next to him in the bar/lobby.
Everything was outstanding! Loved that Dina greeted us in front of the check-in desk, and then walked us towards the elevator. The room was beautifully appointed with easy thermostat controls. We enjoyed the great late night room service - and lastly to the valets greeting us by name. I wish I remembered all their names, so I could recognize the great service. Good hotel , centre of town, in our case very convenient for the Willie Nelson concert at the Moody Theater. The general facilities are ok, I wish they had a roof top bar, the shower water pressure was poor, the restaurants are good. Location great, the staff helpful.

This was my second day at the JW. Spectacular hotel. Austin is lucky to have such a gem. The staff is always friendly and helpful, courteous and kind. This hotel offers everything a luxury hotel should, excellent dining, bars, a beautiful rooftop with incredible views of Town Lake and The Capital. We had a company Christmas party here and the location was perfect, within walking distance of all the hot spots. Awesome hotel, my favorite in Austin.
Beautiful hotel. Food was great. Bathrooms are too far from several ballrooms.
