My experience with the staff and doctor has been delightful. I had my surgery at Monroe surgical with great care and had a timely discharge home. My surgical outcome was exactly what I expected and what occurred was fully explained to me by the doctor.

I am very pleased with the outcome and patience of the doctor. I have been to other doctors that are in out and don't care, but he took his time with me. I had several good referrals about this doctor before even coming. my back surgery and recovery has been smooth and quick. I got cages, screws and rods. I am pleased with the whole staff and doctor.

I was extremely pleased with the outstanding job Dr Alvernia did with my back surgery. I had a TLIF operation done for significant spinal stenosis and scoliosis which caused a bend as well as a twisting of the spine. The pain level I experienced prior to surgery was at times excruciating, and at times I was unable to walk. I can now say, without reservation, that i wish i had the surgery done sooner. I am a little more than a month post-op and have a pain level of 0-2 at the most. I did not nee

He is the best there is. He make sure is everything's ok. The nursing staff is the best too. They call you to see if you ok and to make sure if you need anything. Janelle is the best nurse there is. I'm her number one fan. She knows the office like the back of her hand.

I had a ruptured disc and it was pushing on my sciatic nerve. I was in so much pain. I called around to several other neurosurgeons that people had told me about and they all said it would be 6-8 weeks before they could see me. A friend at work told me about Dr. Alvernia. I called him and wa able to get in to see him the next day. He was so polite and very thorough. He even drew me a picture to show me exactly what he would be doing. I am so thankful for him and his staff.

Had Anterior cervical fusion plate,C5-6 and C6-7. Would recommend to anyone, Dr and all staff go above and beyond with patient needs. More concerned about the reasons why and how to correct than just automatically doing surgery.

I met with Dr. Alvernia in November 2017 for severe back pain. My wife and I were very impressed that Dr. Alvernia spent over an hour discussing my medical history and the specifics of my pain. After an MRI and x-ray, Dr. Alvernia concluded that I had a decompressed disc and degenerative disc disease. He recommended surgery to fuse L3,,4, and 5. I had successful surgery (7 hours and 45 minutes) on 12-18-17 and after six weeks feel significant pain relief thus far. Dr. Alvernia & staff are top

I have had back pain for 13 years, it has gotten worse over the years. I had Lower back disk and vertebrae compression. Dr. Alvernia did surgery on me and I had AMAZING results! I haven't felt better in years. He is great doctor with great staff. I would high recommend him to anyone. I did a lot of research to find the best doctor for my back. It led me to Dr. Alvernia and I couldn't be more pleased with my results. He is takes time with his patients and he treats you with respect.
