In January I started noticing pain in my left leg and it progressively got worse. By April I was only sleeping a couple of hours a night. After an evaluation Dr Alvernia asked me if I wanted PT or injections. You see, the Dr does not rush to cut. Even my PT told me this. Was having excruciating pain in right leg due to pinched nerve. I am now pain free thanks to Dr. Alvernia and the surgery he performed on me. I highly recommend Dr. Alvernia to everyone and his office staff are super nice.
My experience with Dr. Alvernia was excellent. He was very informative about my surgery. We knew what to expect from the surgery and recovery. The office staff were very helpful in setting my surgery up and then following up with me after the surgery.
Dr. Alvernia is outstanding. My husband had neck surgery and is doing great now. Dr. Alvernia explained everything that he was going to do and drew a diagram to show us what it would look like. He is amazing and we would highly recommend him.
Caring and quick service
Dr. Alvernia found that I had brain tumor. I had headaches and didn't know why. Dr. Alvernia did my surgery and I'm recovering quite well. Good overall experience because I didn't know what to expect. Dr. Alvernia office staff was very nice and helped me throughout my recovery period. I really appreciate Dr. Alvernia and Dr. Williams for sending him to Dr. Alvernia
It was a good experience. Dr.Alvernia and staff were very attentive and caring. I would recommend Dr. Alvernia to anyone in need of a neurosurgeon.
There is no other doctor I could recommend more! Dr. Alvernia, Courtney and Janelle are top notch! Kind, helpful and thorough are a just a few words to describe this group. My surgery was uneventful, and the excruciating pain I was experiencing was 100% gone immediately! I am so thankful to have a neurosurgeon like Dr. Alvernia in the Monroe area.
He was excellent doctor. He has the best bedside manner!! He cares so much about his patient's. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Alvernia. He gave me my life back!!
