This visit was informative and encouraging. Dr. Alvernia is always patient. He takes his time to explain and be sure that the patient understands. My surgery went well with no complications. Dr. Alvernia's management of the entire surgical process and team was phenomenal. I will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a neurosurgeon.

I had back pain and leg pain for over a year. I had 3 herniated discs and a pinched nerve. I also fell a lot (no balance). It had gotten so bad that I could hardly walk, even with a cane. After trying steroid shots and physical therapy, I asked my primary doctor to send me to Dr. Alvernia, whom I had met in the hospital when I had fallen a had a concussion. Dr. Alvernia was a great doctor. I went to Glenwood ER with pain in the right arm and was told that I had a mild stroke. A referral was sent to Dr. Alvernia and I was seen and was told that I have herniated disc in my neck and that was causing the issue in my arm. Dr. Alvernia did a neck fusion and I'm improving so much. Janelle was the so helpful with all of my things that were needed. I was recommend him to anyone!!!

I had a productive and positive visit with Dr. Jorge Alvernia. He immediately put me at ease. He treated me for two different surgeries ( back surgery and neck surgery). Both surgeries were a success. The doctor took time to inform me what exactly he was going to do. He was very professional as well. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is contemplating surgery.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Jorge Alvernia. He was a wonderful surgeon, and his staff was always helpful and kind. I suffered from severe neck and back pain from multiple car accidents. Dr. Alvernia was very knowledgeable and confident, he answered all of my questions. He ensured I had a smooth prep, surgery, and follow-up. I am so glad I chose Brain&Spine Associates and would highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Alvernia and the staff and very courteous and nice. My surgery was a success, and my healing is going well. Dr. Alvernia was knowledge and explained well. My spinal fusion in my lower back went well. I would recommend Dr. Alvernia to anyone.

I was suffering from severe neck pain and tingling in my left arm. I went to my family doctor and he ordered an MRI. He immediately referred me to Dr. Alvernia. Dr. Alvernia ordered physical therapy and a variety of tests to pinpoint my problem. He was thorough in his examinations and took the time to ask me questions. He and his staff never treated me as a patient but as a member of their family. I would recommend anyone suffering with any sort of spinal pain to visit Dr. Alvernia.

I had the best treatment. Staff and Dr. Alvernia took time to make sure that everyone was done. I have had back pain for over 20 years. This is the first time in 20 years that I have been pain free!! I'm thankful for Haley sending me to this doctor. I would recommend him the anyone!! Very through and drew out the picture and made sure that everything was great!!
