came to the clinic by recommendation of Dr. Thomas Colvin for chronic neck pain and Dr Alvernia and his staff recommended surgery so I had surgery on 10/17/2021 and now the chronic neck pain is gone. I would highly recommend Dr Alvernia and his staff if you find yourself in need of a spine specialist because I am now pain free. Dr. Alvernia and his staff was very warm and friendly and very informant on every visit. Thank You .....

I could not have been more pleased with the care that I have received. Beginning with the very first consultation I was impressed with Dr. Alvernia's demeanor. Dr. Alvernia took the time to talk to me and come up with a treatment plan that was the best for me! I received the targeted radiation of the brain tumor that I had right here locally and didn't have to travel out of state for treatment. I was so pleased with the results. Dr. Alvernia and his staff have provided exceptional care from start to finish!!

Dr. Alvernia is great. He explained well and even draws a picture. I had to undergo another back surgery that included it to be done in two parts. He went from the front and then the back side. I believe the procedure was called ALIF and then fusion in back side. Dr. Alvernia is very smart!!

He took plenty of time to explain the process prior to surgery, I have had great success. No back pain. Surgery day went great. Janelle always goes out of her way to take good care of you! Highly recommend

I've had previous 2 back surgeries with another neurosurgeon and the surgery was unsuccessful. I've endured back pain for a long time. I went to Glenwood ER in April 2021 with the back pain and was about to be released home and Dr. Alvernia was consulted. Thank God for this because he took his time and followed me thoroughly until I had another back surgery with a new procedure where he went from my side and repaired what was previously done in my other two surgeries. After 12 years of off and on back pain with the last year being chronic, Dr. Alvenia removed a herniated disc at L5-S1 by going in from the front and the back to place the spacer and stabilize it. This surgery went off with no complications and 8 weeks later the severe pain is gone and I'm almost back to normal. I can't thank him enough.

Dr. Alvernia did great job with my surgery. I have herniated disc and was in a lot of pain. He is very knowledge and explain in detail and even drew a picture of the procedure. The office staff is great and Janelle goes the extra mile and makes the visits enjoyable!!
