When someone has chest pain and troubles breathing as well as diarrhea with blood, and after blood tests come back with a high white blood cell count I don't think you should be in the waiting room for 3 hours.
New to the area. Took my husband to Patient First on Eastern Ave for nausea, vomiting and severe abdominal pain. Elevated WBC and BP. Patient First suspected appendix and advised us to go to ER immediately. Since Bayview ER is directly next door it was the obvious choice. NEVER AGAIN. Inefficient, insensitive, unprofessional and downright rude. Woman in next cubicle having some sort of psychosis, nurse came in and laughed saying well you have entertainment for the evening. We spent 12 hours there for them to tell us they don't think her headaches have anything to do with her tumor behind her eye. It was terrible
If it wasn't for this hospital I'd be dead the Drs at this hosp are very good and they comfortably told me what was wrong this happened 4 yrs ago they put a AICD in me and if it wasn't for that I wouldn't be here it has fired several times but they're always on top of there game...Drs are wonderful
