I am considering Dr Shefferman for Invisalign treatment. I am at the point right now, visiitng different orthodontists to see which one I feel the best with about having invisalign done. I think that Dr Shefferman is a strong possibility. His staff is very nice and friendly, and he seems to be a perfectionist. He is the first orthodontist I have seen in my quest, but does have a lot of credentials, that you can see by visiting his site.
Overall I had a positive experience. Dr. Shefferman was very willing to keep ordering Invisalign trays to ensure my teeth were ultimately straight. He twice had to order additional trays which prolonged the ultimate completion date considerably. At the time, I couldn't help think that due to how busy his office is, perhaps I didn't always have his full attention and he might have otherwise identifed the issues which resulted in needing additional trays. I underwent invisalign as well as traditional braces with Dr. Shefferman. I found Dr Shefferman to be very responsive to questions and realistic about treatment outcomes. The techs were generally very good and tried to make me as comfortable as possible.
I had my lingual braces when I moved to Washington DC in June 2009. In my search for a credible orthodontist to continue my treatment, I was fortunate to meet Dr. Shefferman. Starting from the first visit, I have always felt relaxed and comfortable while receiving treatment. I appreciate Dr. Sheffermans professional knowledge, practical techniques and friendly attitude towards each and every patient as well as his assistant. I am very satisfied at the final outcome of my orthodontics treatment.
Dr Shefferman is friendly and knowledgeable and his staff are skilled and caring. After finishing my invisalign treatment, his eye for creating a perfect, natural smile while shaping my teeth was evident. I'd highly recommend him to anyone, especially adults. It's worth the price. The only reason I didn't rate the facilities 4 stars is because 4 says "like a health spa". I don't think I'd want my orthodontist's office to be like a health spa anyway. It's a comfortable and professional space.
After having a lot of success with wearing braces for 1 year in 7th grade, I eventually stopped wearing my retainers, and realized that my lower front teeth were starting to turn. My dentist offered to do Invisalign on them, but suggested I go to Dr. Shefferman for a consultation before deciding what to do. I decided to go with Dr. Shefferman and am very happy I did so. Bite adjustment: Braces & Invisalign It's not easy to have this treatment when you are 50, Dr. Shefferman and his professional and friendly staff made it easy. The treatment was very successful and the confidence that if anything goes wrong with it, Dr.Shefferman will take care of it, it's very important. I would highly recommend this doctor to others
Doctor Sherrerman is our orthodontist for our 4 daughters. He is doing a fantastic job. Our oldest got her braces off earlier this year and her teeth look beautiful - very straight. He and his team are all great with kids, the place is VERY stress free. He has a great sense of humor but takes to end goal of straight teeth very serioulsy. The office is fun and casual and they always have good newspapers and magazines to read while I wait during the kids appts.
I had Invisalign and am completely satisfied with the result.. My dentist offered Invisalign but I chose to go with a respected Orthodontist. I would recommend others do the same.
