I would recommend Dr. Shefferman to anyone. He set out a clear plan of treatment and did everything he said and more -- a true perfectionist. He has an easy, reassuring manner, and his staff is both caring and professional. A visit to the office feels like you're returning to friends. No stress or pain here! I don't have a basis to judge the costs, but I felt that the quality of care and extremely successful results meant that I received a great value.
From my experience I would say that Dr. Shefferman is a thoughtful, careful perfectionist. The staff is friendly and helpful. They usually run on schedule. I would recommend Dr. Shefferman to anyone.
I was referred to Dr. Shefferman from my general practice dentist, and I found the process of working with Dr. Shefferman's staff very easy and painless. Everyone was always friendly and accommodating to my needs. Doctor Shefferman is quite personable. Though the treatment isn't cheap, the actual results were very pleasing.
Dr. Shefferman was a big part of my dental team. He was the third ortho I interviewed and played an integral part in prepping for my orthognathic (jaw) surgery - both jaws. He is very gentle, kind and caring. The office is extremely accommodating and friendly. Appointments were easy to manage and if I needed special arrangements they were able to squeeze me in. My daughter just completed 4 years of ortho with Dr. Shefferman, and it has been a pleasure for her and for me as the parent watching her change. As a member of the dental profession, I was indeed impressed by Dr. Shefferman and his wonderful staff. They always explained every step and phase of treatment and why it was being done. I learned quite a bit from Dr. Shefferman as he worked on my daughter. Dr. Shefferman and his staff are friendly and very easy to work with. He doesn't work with any insurance companies so the cost is a bit higher, but if you can put up with the added charge, I would definitely recommend Dr. Shefferman for other young professionals like myself. (Braces aren't that bad after all!)
As a kid I could NOT stop sucking my thumb, he had the perfect solution and got me to stop! I had my braces put on after 6th grade, I am now 25 years old and my teeth still look fantastic! He was always a fun and polite doctor and made me feel comfortable every time I went in for my tightening. If I ever felt discomfort or had a problem with my braces he would fix them up quickly and efficiently! Go Dr. Shefferman! Dr. Shefferman and his staff have worked with both my daughters providing them both with beautiful teeth that should last a lifetime. Celia Bassols
Dr. Shefferman is very pleasant and calm. His staff was very easy to work with, anytime I needed an extra copy of a bill for insurance purposes, etc. They run word scramble or trivia contests every month where patients can win iPods or such, and there is a choo-choo train running around the top of his office! I would defintely recommend him to anyone!
