About this business
Opened in the summer of 2006 to replace the aging University Hall, the University of Virginia now holds its basketball games, concerts and other events in this 16,000 seat arena. Built almost entirely from a private donation, it takes its name from a former alumni, and not the Revolutionary War naval hero. It shouldn't be hard for fans to find, since it's right across the street from the old facility.

Great venue and easy to get to. Besides sporting events there are always different shows here. Coming soon. Jason Alexander, Zac Brown Band, KISS! No bad seats.
Great arena! Everything and everyone working there is top notch.
It’s an exciting venue! There are several parking options within a ten-minute walk. The concession workers are very friendly. Unfortunately, the products are Pepsi, but I wanted a cup, so I just asked for water. I would have had a better time if they had won the fame, but it’s always a fabulous place to be!
