About this business
Opened in the summer of 2006 to replace the aging University Hall, the University of Virginia now holds its basketball games, concerts and other events in this 16,000 seat arena. Built almost entirely from a private donation, it takes its name from a former alumni, and not the Revolutionary War naval hero. It shouldn't be hard for fans to find, since it's right across the street from the old facility.

I love having the opportunity to see concerts close to home . It is a great facility and the staff are friendly and helpful . The only thing I think could use done work ( not for me because I don’t drink) is the alcohol lines need to move a little faster! I have stood with friends and it takes forever !! A better system or more lines , something.
This place is SILLY STUPID. I have never been to a concert venue that required you to wear a wrist band and get and X on your hand to show that you are of age to drink and have never been to a venue with a clear bag policy. Excessive. We drove 3 hours to enjoy this concert, I hope the main act blows us away because the rest of the experience hasn't been worth it at all. We won't be back.
