About this business
Opened in the summer of 2006 to replace the aging University Hall, the University of Virginia now holds its basketball games, concerts and other events in this 16,000 seat arena. Built almost entirely from a private donation, it takes its name from a former alumni, and not the Revolutionary War naval hero. It shouldn't be hard for fans to find, since it's right across the street from the old facility.

Great place to see concerts.
Very nice arena with clean restrooms and friendly staff. Parking was fine when entering but exiting the arena took me more than 35 min so I think hiring staff to help with expediting the flow of traffic at the end of the event is something the school should invest in. Overall I had a very good time. Oh and just a side note purses and book bags are not allowed in the arena.
