Opened in the summer of 2006 to replace the aging University Hall, the University of Virginia now holds its basketball games, concerts and other events in this 16,000 seat arena. Built almost entirely from a private donation, it takes its name from a former alumni, and not the Revolutionary War naval hero. It shouldn't be hard for fans to find, since it's right across the street from the old facility.

Be sure to purchase your prepaid parking pass when you purchase your tickets. Wish we had known. Whew. Sigh.
Easy in...easy out, great experience!
Nice arena but parking and traffic was horrendous. Had to park a half mile away in a shopping mall and walk or we would have missed the first half of show. Charlottesville Finest did nothing to alleviate the traffic problems. 45 minutes to go one mile....
Best sports & entertainment venue in America.
Pleasant staff, good parking, all seats have good view
gotta see the Cavaliers. The security team could lighten up a bit. they are not securing a military base or a Presidential visit.
I really love this place
Great place for a concert with easy access and super friendly staff.
Great venue for concerts besides basketball
