If You Have State Farm Please Stay Away! I trully wish I could give them zero stars. I have been trying to get help to fix my roof for 4 months. Since I put in my claim for weather damage in May; I have been given the run around. First claim representative I had did not respond to my calls. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. Absolutely despicable company. I live in a condo unit, and my upstairs neighbor's toilet had a leak which came down into my bathroom and caused damage. I notified my neighbor immediately, and they filed a claim with their insurance (State Farm) in order to get someone out to my place to repair the damage. Not helpful at all!!! Unfortunately, because of certain circumstances, I have had to stay with this company for a while, however they are full of surprises! If I could give zero stars I would. I was a client of Chris L****** for many years. I always paid on time and they screwed up my coverage by canceling one of my policies without my notification. I ended up having a medical emergency which caused me to crash into a fence. I went to file a claim and was told my main car I was driving’s coverage was terminated when I added an additional car to my policy. Fair with my home damage claim,able to replace my roof and siding from hail damage. Very time consuming though process 2 months to complete but understand situations from storm. Adjuster treatment was excellent and personal .Adjuster was very fair in his estimate.
I had a car accident on 4/21/2020 state farm (Ben Tullos office shreveport La) last contacted me on 6/19/2020. The claim still has NOT been completed. I try to call the office they cant tell me anything. But they can send a letter in the mail canceling my insurance for the wreck and they still haven't even gotten the police report to see who was at fault!! My grandmother had insurance with State Farm Greg Morris Insurance in Mocsksville, NC for around 50 years. State Farm decided to drop her policy because she had two claims in one year. One claim was due to a tree falling through her roof and another was due to a claim she was not aware of when a man told her she needed a new roof and filed a claim. They were quick to get my business but, when it comes to claims, it's all about denying them for profit. I have had three different roofing companies out to my home to check for hail damage after a hail storm occurred. 90% of the homes in my neighborhood have received new roofs or in the process of getting new roofs. We have ten hail hits per square on over 50% of the roof.
