The Calamari was great! Not too much bread and cooked well. A cup of Gumbo and the Red Fish covered with crawfish etouffe, green beans and mashed potatoes rounded out lunch. Everything was cooked very well and had a deep rich flavor. We were there during lunch.hour and the service was timely but not rushed. A great experience overall.

We stopped here on our way to San Antonio. We all loved our food. The foods we ordered: oysters on the halfshell, salads, fried chicken, loaded baked potato and shrimp. Everything was really good and I would say it's a great place for people of all ages.

Went for oysters and Gumbo.,I passed this place for 5 months..my hotel (Marriott) is walking distance..man what a mistake!!! Good pour on the bourbon and oysters both raw and grilled were outstanding!!

Haven't been to this restaurant for a long time that came back to Houston on business in this is one of the restaurants in this area that I remember the food was still the same very good I had a dozen oysters and the seafood platter it was just like I remember when I used to live in Houston the oysters were really really good cold and chilled just like I like it. it makes me happy to see restaurants are still putting out good product I'm not making any shortcuts if you're in the Houston area near Beltway 8 in Imperial Valley... read more

Good Food and great concept. We dined there 3 different times.The seafood platter was very filling. It was cooked to perfection. We also loved the Gumbo and the seafood soups.

Meeting with colleague. Enjoyed the Gulf fresh oysters. Usually find them bland, a mouthful plus and usually best for the deep fry or oven but these were tasty and more like cold water oysters. The gumbo was as good as get in NOLA and the shared boiled shrimp were excellent. Wait staff were helpful and friendly. An enjoyable visit. A keeper.

Most memorable meal was grilled shrimp, with mussels for an appetizer. The shrimp were large and juicy, and served with lemon butter. When we ran short of lemon butter, the waitress brought us more.
