Great selection of Cajun foods. Chicken and sausage gumbo was served with rice...super tasty and filling! Catfish was cooked to perfection ... This was recommended by the local hotel-and after a hectic and crazy travel day (with flight cancellation and local flooding in Houston), I was glad I chose this place. The atmosphere is very casual, but the food made up for the lack of ambiance typical of main stream restaurants.

Extensive menu for many different appetites. The bowl of peel and eat shrimp is a great way to start. Just be hungry when you walk through the door, you won't leave that way.

We were on a layover while catching a cruise the next day. This eatery is next to the hotel. Huge portions. Shrimp was wonderful. Boneless fried chicken was enormous!!! Our friend even tried the Turtle Soup. The place was packed and many around us were eating the crawdads! The Gumbo was spicy and full of shrimp. Our waitress was super friendly.

I ate there 5 years ago and I liked it. I went back recently and it was just as good. Service was good. Food was hot and the drinks were cold. I will continue to go there when I am in town.

Absolutely the very best grilled oysters I have ever eaten. I always try to eat here when I'm in Houston. Best meal I've had in quite some time.

We dined here last night (Saturday). We didn't have to wait for a table at 6:30, which seemed a little surprising. The grilled oyster appetizer was very tasty, especially the two biggest oysters on the plate. My broiled snapper was fresh and nicely cooked and the mashed potatoes and green beans were a simple but tasty side dish. I would like to go back.

Awesome! Sit at the oyster bar, watch them cook, eat and drink. I had grilled oysters and crawfish. Omg I loved it. Definitely going again. Loved it

I love crawfish (crayfish to some) and this place delivers!! VERY well prepared, spicy and loaded with Old Bay. Went 3 times and ordered 3 lbs, 4 lbs and then 5 lbs. It's a very short walk from the Hyatt North Houston and if I ever get back THIS will be one of my stops.

I stopped in for some late-night crawdads and beer; and they were both fabulous! Can't wait to try some of the other items on the menu. Authentic Cajun food is hard to come by outside of LA.
